Senses, to no avail, Sleep in succulent Suspension Her Beauty surpassing Shadows and Light Scent and Sweat Time and Tears I watch in bliss, She sways, Silent ecstasy... She moves my soul Inspired by the song In the Shadows by The Rasmus and the wonderfully tasteful gallery of Ms. *kedralynn This is artwork long overdue... I've been meaning to do a piece which depicts my admiration for *kedralynn for some time now... and I finally found the perfect set piece (or should I say, it finally found me...) care of the wonderful 3D artist ~shadavar and the wonderful set of wings from his dev stock ~shadavar-stock. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. She has some awesome tutorials, brushes, etc! Everything you need to get going! As for a few tips on my own... well... I like to use layers and layering effects, like dissolve, overlay and screens... that's what keeps the colors and the textures intact, without having to make sure the layers look alike. It's basically just one layer on top of the other!
